Danielle Dey, from Waveland, is one of four University of Mississippi students who have been awarded David L. Boren scholarships from the National Security Education Program. Dey earned a Bachelor of Arts in international studies from UM in May. She minored in intelligence and security studies and Korean. Boren Scholars commit to studying critical languages and preparing for careers in national security, public service or international affairs. Recipients immerse themselves in the cultures of regions such as Africa, Asia, Eurasia, Latin America and the Middle East.

Anne Caramanica Receives Inaugural Scholarship From Ole Miss Golf Course

The Ole Miss Golf Course awarded its inaugural scholarship to Anne Caramanica, of Leesburg, Virginia. Caramanica is a law studies major at the University of Mississippi and a staff member in the pro shop at the golf course. "OMGC student employees are an invaluable part of our daily operations," said Tate Anderson, manager of the Ole Miss Golf Course. "This scholarship program is a unique opportunity for us to recognize their contributions to the course, as well as their personal and academic accomplishments. We congratulate this year's recipients and remain committed to supporting our student employees."
