UM Students Achieve Arabic Capstone

Four University of Mississippi Language Flagship seniors are headed abroad to hone their language skills after being accepted for the Arabic capstone year program. The capstone is a final year of direct enrollment and study at a university in Morocco, followed by an internship.

University of Mississippi Student Lake Dodson Studies Abroad in South Korea

Lake Dodson, a political science major at the University of Mississippi, had the opportunity of a lifetime to study abroad last fall at Kyung Hee University, the only university in South Korea with a nuclear reactor on campus. Dodson, of Madison, studied Korean foreign policy, North-South Korean relations and carried out nuclear research entirely in the Korean language.
