Lauren Black Named UM Army ROTC's Top Senior of the Year

Lauren Black, a business major from Bartlesville, Oklahoma, was named Top Senior of the Year at the University of Mississippi's Army ROTC Awards Banquet. To receive this award, a cadet is evaluated upon academic performance, performance in ROTC, attendance, physical fitness, volunteer work and cadre assessment. "In addition to serving as the battalion commander for the spring semester, Cadet Black led with distinction as an example of professionalism and commitment including scoring the highest PT (physical training) score in the program," said Myron "MC" McWashington, recruiting operations officer.
